Writer & Storyteller
Ileana Lobkowicz is a writer and storyteller who grew up in Prague, captivated by the city’s magic, history, and lore. After graduating from the International School of Prague, she attended Boston College where she managed the university’s online magazine and received her BA in Philosophy in 2019.
Since returning to Prague, Ileana has been deeply involved in her family’s cultural organization, House of Lobkowicz, helping to shape its voice, strategy, and storytelling. As a creative steward of stories, she is using her 700-year-old ancestral heritage to serve as a bridge between the past and the future—currently being written into a family memoir.
Ileana founded Bohemian Vignettes as a platform to share the untold stories about people, places, and food (for thought). It started with a question and was fueled by a curiosity to chase that question—revealing new possibilities for wonder, transformation, and human connection. Here, one can find stories that move us and move through us. Glimpses of life, at once visible and hidden, loud and silenced, to remind us that we are not so different from each other. That stories, ultimately, create a mirror in which we may see our own hidden reflections.
And just like that, the story of I becomes the story of Us.
